Join Us for the 2nd Annual Frost Fair!

For a second consecutive year, we’re teaming up with Friends of Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge for our 2nd annual Frost Fair: A Winter Wildlife Fun Day, on Saturday, February 7. The free, all-ages event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge headquarters in Baring. In the event of rain or unsafe weather conditions, the Frost Fair will be rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 14.

Community members of all ages are invited to join in the winter fun! Admission is FREE, thanks in part to generous support from Versant Power and Cobscook Shores. Enjoy a cozy bonfire, s’mores, and a variety of outdoor activities. Indoor seating and activities will also be available, along with free hot beverages and healthy snacks. Dress warmly to make the most of the outdoor offerings.

Healthy Acadia is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing community health in Maine’s Hancock and Washington counties. Our mission is to empower people and organizations as we build healthy communities together.

Since 2001, we have aimed to identify important health needs in our communities and find ways to address their root causes. We collaborate with community partners and leaders from various sectors to develop plans, take action, and enhance overall health and well-being. Through teamwork and shared leadership, we address ongoing issues and quickly respond to urgent health concerns in our area.
