Healthy Acadia Invites You to Explore Mindfulness and Movement: Breathe, Posture, & Yoga Off the Mat

Healthy Acadia will host “Mindfulness and Movement: Breathe, Posture, & Yoga Off the Mat” with Samantha Williams on Thursday, Oct.1, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The free online event is another installment in Healthy Acadia’s Monthly Mindfulness series.

Discover how the holistic practice of yoga can help soothe the mind and body, especially when navigating the challenges of everyday life. Participants will explore how yoga supports the parasympathetic nervous system and learn simple, one-minute mindfulness and movement practices that can be incorporated into daily life to support well-being. The session will also explore how a consistent yoga practice may support lasting changes in brain structure and help cultivate a more resilient nervous system over time.

Pre-registration is required for this free event. Upon registering, you'll receive a confirmation that includes the information needed to join the Zoom session. Register online at https://bit.ly/mindful-100126
