Make A Lasting Impact - Join our Healthy Legacy Giving community

Leverage Your Estate with Planned Giving

Are you thinking of giving to Healthy Acadia? You can make a lasting impact by building a bequest to Healthy Acadia into your will, trust or estate planning or by naming Healthy Acadia as a life insurance, retirement, bank, stock account or other asset beneficiary. Your gift can be customized to fit your needs: this might mean a specific amount or percentage donated to Healthy Acadia from your estate, or it might mean donating the remainder of your estate after the terms of your will, trust, or estate plan are met. If you are inspired to contribute to our endowed funds, this can be built into your estate planning as well.

For those looking to both give to Healthy Acadia as a condition of your will, trust, or estate terms and also to ensure a fixed income for themselves and/or a loved one until it is time to pass on your legacy, Healthy Acadia can work with you to set up a charitable gift annuity. And keep in mind that you can name Healthy Acadia as the beneficiary of your assets during your lifetime as well - for example, if you’ve reached the age where you need to take the required minimum distributions from your traditional IRAs.

Whatever approach is the most meaningful for you, we would love to help you shape a planned giving strategy that will be a powerful personal and community influence. And please let us know if you plan to make a bequest; we look forward to acknowledging and honoring your generosity during your lifetime.

Healthy Acadia’s work is so important to my community and throughout Hancock and Washington counties. So, it just made sense to want my own legacy to include making Healthy Acadia my IRA beneficiary. I’m excited to know my financial gift will help others long after my own chapter on this earth is done.
