Join Us for Giving Health
This December, we invite you to join us in celebrating our annual, month-long Giving Health campaign. Our monthlong Giving Health campaign fundraising goal is $50,000! It is a big goal and we know we can do this together to make a difference.
When you give, you are not just making a donation to Health Acadia, you are Giving Health to our friends, family and neighbors.
Your gift today will also have double the impact! When you give today, you will be helping us unlock a special $6,000 matching gift generously made by Versant, Veridian Law, Cleary Law, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, Machias Savings Bank, Downeast Graphics, Mount Desert Island Hospital, Maine Coast Sea Vegetables, and Bangor Federal Credit Union. Thank you to these outstanding partners!
Donate today. Together, we make health happen.
As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude. Your generosity - through financial gifts, in-kind donations, volunteer service, and simply cheering us on - fuels our mission. Together, we are helping friends, families, and neighbors access the health services and compassionate support they deserve.
Every day, Healthy Acadia team members respond to community needs, working across our eight Focus Areas and guided by our Mission, Vision, and Values. We meet people where they are, walk alongside them, and help remove barriers to care, because everyone deserves health, hope, and connection.

Community Health Connects Us All
Healthy Acadia is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing community health in Maine’s Hancock and Washington counties. Our mission is to empower people and organizations as we build healthy communities together.
Since 2001, we have aimed to identify important health needs in our communities and find ways to address their root causes. We collaborate with community partners and leaders from various sectors to develop plans, take action, and enhance overall health and well-being. Through teamwork and shared leadership, we address ongoing issues and quickly respond to urgent health concerns in our area.
Thank you so very much to all of you - our community partners, friends, and supporters who help us continue to build healthier and more vibrant communities.
