COVID-19 Updates
Thanks to support from the Maine Public Health Association, Healthy Acadia has a limited number of $20 gasoline cards available to enable individuals to access COVID-19 vaccination and testing. The cards may also be requested by community members who need to travel to support a family member, friend, or neighbor who is in isolation or quarantine due to COVID-19.

COVID-19 Vaccinations
On Friday, November 5, 2021, U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to include children ages 5 through 11 years. Click here to learn more.
Maine residents and visitors ages 5 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. To find a vaccine site nearest you, click here. If you need help scheduling an appointment, call the Maine COVID-19 Community Vaccination Line at 1-888-445-4111.
COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters
The CDC recommends that individuals in the following groups should receive a booster shot at least six months after completion of their two-dose Pfizer series:
Individuals ages 65 years and older;
Individuals ages 18–64 years with underlying medical conditions, who live in long-term care settings, or who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission due to working or residing in certain settings.

Need a ride? Maine Department of Health and Human Services is offering a free option for Maine residents who need transportation to and from a COVID-19 vaccination appointment. Call 1-855-608-5172 to reserve a ride.
COVID-19 Testing
The state allows anyone over the age of 12 months to receive a test without a physician order or referral. It remains advised to contact your medical provider to determine whether you should be tested.
