Welcome, Taylor Delano

Please join us in welcoming Taylor Delano to the Healthy Acadia team! 

Taylor joins our Emergency Housing Supports Team as support staff for our seasonal overnight warming center, located at Healthy Acadia’s INSPIRE Community Recovery Center in Ellsworth.

Support staff at the seasonal overnight warming center provide a warm and welcoming place for guests and connect them to additional community resources such as food pantries, recovery coaching, warm clothing, and other social supports. Our team supports people by building trust, listening, and collaborating with partners.

Taylor currently resides in Ellsworth and is a Hancock County Treatment Court Alumni, and a Client of the Month!

Taylor, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?

I believe I will be able to relate to the guests. Be able to meet them where they're at, get along and vibe well with everybody.

What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work? 

Being able to help relate and support vulnerable people in the community, and give back.

What most inspires you on a personal level?

Staying clean and sober and being the best Father and Man I can be.

What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?

Skiing in the winter and throttle therapy/ riding in the summer.
