Healthy Acadia’s “Warm Your Heart” Online Silent Auction Set for Feb. 3–9
Maine - Healthy Acadia announced that its annual “Warm Your Heart” Online Silent Auction will return Feb. 3-9, offering a fun and easy way for community members to support its wide range of community health programs and resources.
A variety of items and experiences donated by local businesses and community members will be up for bid. Proceeds from the auction will help strengthen access to care, connection, and well-being for people across Downeast Maine.
The organization hopes the community will come out to support their work, while enjoying the opportunity to win tickets to Solas at the Collins Center for the Arts, a rafting package for two and overnight accommodations at the New England Outdoor Center, Bixby Chocolates made in Rockland, gourmet jerky from Bootleg Jerky, tickets for The Wallflowers at the Criterion Theatre, Downeast Scenic Railroad tickets, gift card for A Boatload of Books, gift card for Angie’s Comfort Kitchen, a float session at Float 207, cookies from Sweet Monkey’s in Belfast, artwork by Tracy Eisenhauer, signed CD from Maine’s next American Idol hopeful - Josiah Dyer, tickets from Scenic Flights of Acadia and so much more!
“This is a great way to fend off cabin fever during the winter months while building happiness, connection, and community alongside Healthy Acadia. Shared Shoshona Smith, Healthy Acadia’s Development Director, “We are so grateful to all the amazing businesses and community members who donated items and experiences for the auction and to our broad community for participating in this fun fundraiser."
Bidding will open at 5 a.m. on Feb. 3 and run through 8 p.m. on Feb. 9. Winners will be notified on February 10, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Sneak peeks and updates can be viewed at healthyacadia.org and on Healthy Acadia’s Facebook and Instagram pages in the days leading up to and during this online-only event.
