Healthy Acadia to offer “Practical, Everyday Tools for Stress Reduction,” with special guest Tom Speare

Community members are invited to join Healthy Acadia online via Zoom on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., for “Practical, Everyday Tools for Stress Reduction,” with special guest Tom Speare. The free online event is the latest installment in Healthy Acadia’s Monthly Mindfulness series.

Stress can be managed successfully when we have the right tools in our toolbox. With simple and immediately effective practices we can reduce the level of stress in our lives. We just need to know what these tools are and begin to use them regularly.

In this hour-long workshop, participants will be introduced to multiple stress reduction practices that can become the foundation of a more balanced, healthy, and productive you. We will also examine some of the vast research that has been conducted so that we can see how deeply our bodies are impacted by stress. It is this research that has led to the development of the tools we will be practicing in this session.

Pre-registration is required for this free event. The one-hour session will be offered virtually via Zoom. To register and receive the Zoom link, go to bit.ly/mindful-6123
