Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation to Be Offered April 7

Community members are invited to join Healthy Acadia on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., via Zoom for, "Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation," with special guest Julie Daigle. The free online event is the latest installment in Healthy Acadia’s Monthly Mindfulness series.

Julie Daigle will be offering an opportunity to explore a yoga-based practice which combines mindfulness, a deepening awareness of our internal states, and an opportunity for deep levels of stress relief. Yoga Nidra offers participants a path to health and healing through this ancient practice, which brings the expanded awareness characteristic of mindfulness together with profound relaxation and release.

Daigle brings to this month's mindfulness practice over 30 years of personal mindfulness and movement practice and certification in several mind-body-spirit modalities, such as tai chi and several styles of yoga practice, including Yoga Nidra, on which this month's session is based.

Pre-registration is required for this free event. To register and receive the Zoom link, go to https://bit.ly/mindful-4722.
