It's Time to Sign Up for Maine Senior FarmShare
The application period for Maine Senior FarmShare is now open! Income-eligible applicants aged 60+ (or 55+ for Native Americans), can receive $50 of FREE fresh produce from a participating farm in your area!
This program is funded by the USDA and connects individuals directly with local farms to receive produce over the growing season.
To participate in the Maine Senior FarmShare Program you must:
Be a Maine resident
Be 60 years old or older (55 years old or older for Native Americans)
Meet the 2024 Income Guidelines:
Maximum of $27,861/per year for a one-person household; or
Maximum of $37,814 /per year for a two-person household

In Washington County, eligible individuals can sign up with Folklore Farm (serving Cherryfield/Milbridge/Franklin and Machias), Bristol’s Redbird Farm (Harrington), Far Out Farm (Lubec), Willingsfield Farm (Pembroke), and Rime Nor Reason Farm (Calais).
