Cultivate Your Listening Skills with Healthy Acadia and Dr. Joshua Ehrlich
Community members are invited to join Healthy Acadia on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., virtually via Zoom for "The Art of Mindful Listening" with special guest Joshua Ehrlich, Ph.D. The free online event is the latest in Healthy Acadia’s Monthly Mindfulness Series.
Listening serves as the heart of personal and professional effectiveness. Dr. Ehrlich will lead a workshop that will engage participants in mindfulness exercises aimed at enhancing their tuning-in abilities. Participants will explore various aspects, including:
Effective Questions and Inquiry
Reflection and Validation
Managing Distractions
The Four Levels of Listening
Empathic Listening vs. Compassion
The workshop is designed to be interactive, with participants engaging in practical exercises within breakout groups. Join Ehrlich for an enjoyable experience and the opportunity to cultivate your mindful listening skills!
