Be Heart Healthy
February is American Heart Month. We know that healthy habits, such as maintaining a healthy weight, maintaining positive social connections, staying physically active, eating several servings daily of variety of fruits and vegetables, and following your health provider's recommendations for regular health screenings are important for heart health. This month, we challenge you to get active outdoors and enjoy winter in Maine!
Last year, as part of Healthy Acadia's yearlong, 20 year anniversary celebration, we kicked off the month of February with a fun scavenger hunt. This February, we're resharing these fun ideas from the Wellness category:

Go on a Health Quest Watch and follow along with a SNAP-Ed Recipe Video

In an hour that would normally be devoted to technology, do a family craft, outing or outdoor activity
Take a picture of your idea of joy and share it with us Take a picture of whatever makes you happy and tell us about it
