Access Maine: New Online Resource Guide for Families in Maine

In an effort to increase knowledge of the existing services and supports for individuals and families in Maine, the Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) worked closely with other state agency partners to develop a comprehensive online Family Services Resource Guide, also known as Access Maine

Launched in April 2022, Access Maine is an online resource guide with information to connect people living in Maine to public programs, services, and other resources that are available to provide support they need to be safe, happy, healthy, and successful. This tool complements the existing 211 Maine program (www.211Maine.org) where individuals can call, text, or go online to be connected to community-level resources in Maine.

Access Maine is easy to use and connects users to resources across a wide range of categories, including:

Access Maine is not a complete list of services available to people living in Maine. If you are unable to locate the resources you need, or would like more information about programs or providers in your community, contact the 211 Maine helpline 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 211 Maine is a free, confidential statewide program that provides information about local health and human services to people of all ages.
