Welcome, Tiffany Sprague

Please join us in welcoming Tiffany Sprague to the Healthy Acadia team! 

Tiffany returns to our Emergency Housing Supports Team as support staff for our seasonal overnight warming center, located at Healthy Acadia’s INSPIRE Community Recovery Center in Ellsworth.

Support staff at the seasonal overnight warming center provide a warm and welcoming place for guests and connect them to additional community resources such as food pantries, recovery coaching, warm clothing, and other social supports. Our team supports people by building trust, listening, and collaborating with partners.

Tiffany currently resides in Addison.

Tiffany, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?

Making a difference in the community. I assist people who are struggling with being unhoused and people who are struggling with barriers. I feel it’s my role to not only assist in giving them a clean, safe environment but also a welcoming space as well.

What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work? 

I really enjoy Healthy Acadia’s overall mission. Being apart of the warming center for the 3rd year, makes me proud to be able to provide and contribute to the community who needs it the most.

What most inspires you on a personal level?

Being a care provider is the central part of who I am as a person.

What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?

It may sound cliché, but I love being with my family. They are my happy place. I have two dogs, Freya and Charlie, and regardless of what kind of day I’m having, they make me smile every single day.
