Molly, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?

In my time at College of the Atlantic I became well acquainted with the local food systems and increasingly passionate about supporting them. Through classes, projects, internships, and volunteer work I realized how incredible the efforts to address food insecurity in this area are, and how great the need is. Healthy Acadia is the perfect place to support those efforts.

What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work and your new role?

I am so excited to be part of a passionate, hard-working team that is doing so much to increase the wellbeing of the people in the region. The work Healthy Acadia is doing is changing lives and that is so inspiring.

What most inspires you on a personal level?

I am inspired by the people who are doing food justice work across the country, and by my own passion and love for food and supporting others.

What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?

I love, more than anything, walking around Little Long Pond with my dog, Benny. It is a beautiful, quiet, dog-friendly place and I love sharing that place and many adventures with him.
