Welcome, Mikayla Beers

Please join us in welcoming Mikayla Beers to the Healthy Acadia team! 

Mikayla joins our team as Community Health and Overdose Prevention Coordinator. In her role, Mikayla works to support implementation of substance use and overdose prevention initiatives and recovery support systems in Washington County.

As a certified Nutritionist, Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach, Mikayla has worked closely with the community for many years on their health and overall mind/body wellness.

Mikayla, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?

Health and wellness is a passion for me. Promoting wellness to my local community through such a great organization was the perfect fit for me.

What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work? 

Healthy Acadia's recovery and prevention work is inspiring and such an amazing and meaningful thing to be a part of.

What most inspires you on a personal level?

To see people change their lives by implementing daily mind and body wellness routines

What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?

I love to be outside. I like to hunt, fish, hike and just be outside in nature.
