Welcome, Ashley Bragg

Please join us in welcoming Ashley Bragg to the Healthy Acadia team! 

Ashley joins our Emergency Housing Supports Team as support staff for our seasonal overnight warming center, located at Healthy Acadia’s INSPIRE Community Recovery Center in Ellsworth.

Support staff at the seasonal overnight warming center provide a warm and welcoming place for guests and connect them to additional community resources such as food pantries, recovery coaching, warm clothing, and other social supports. Our team supports people by building trust, listening, and collaborating with partners.

Ashley currently resides in Ellsworth.

Ashley, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?

I believe in Healthy Acadia's mission to strengthen community health and provide meaningful support to individuals and families. I wanted to be a part of an organization that makes a positive, long-term impact.

What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work? 

The Warming Center work makes a tangible, immediate difference in people's lives. Being a part of a program that offers warmth, safety, and connection during challenging times, inspires me.

What most inspires you on a personal level?

On a personal level, I am inspired by my experience and understanding of the value of meaningful connection and community support, and how that positively impacts a person's experience.

What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?

I enjoy connecting with nature and exploring all our beautiful state has to offer.
