Welcome, Ann Crispino

Please join us in welcoming Ann Crispino to the Healthy Acadia team!

Ann joins Healthy Acadia as Cancer Patient Navigator. She works one-on-one with patients who are facing a cancer diagnosis, helping them to navigate the healthcare and social service systems and community resources to access appropriate diagnostic, treatment, recovery, support, and financial services.

Ann holds an Associates Degree in Nursing from University of Bridgeport and a BSN from Walden University.

Ann, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?

The opportunity to work with an organization whose focus is on providing resources to people in need.

What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work?

I am very excited to be working with cancer patients and accompanying them on their cancer journey. Working through the world of healthcare is challenging for anyone but is especially so for people in rural communities where resources are few. I look forward to providing assistance and support in anyway I can.

What most inspires you on a personal level?

My family. My husband and I moved to Machiasport 2 years ago after he retired. We have 5 children, 3 pups, 1 granddaughter and 4 grandogs!

What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?

Home is my favorite place to be in Maine. When I turn down our road a sense of calm comes over me. When I smell the air and look out at the water I feel peace and gratitude. I also love to read and am learning to knit.

Email Ann.
