Mark Your Calendars for the Second Annual Frost Fair at Moosehorn
Baring, ME - Healthy Acadia and Friends of Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge are gearing up for their second annual Frost Fair: A Winter Wildlife Fun Day, on Saturday, Feb. 7. The free, all-ages event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge headquarters in Baring. In the event of rain or unsafe weather conditions, the Frost Fair will be rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 14.
Community members of all ages are invited to join in the winter fun. Admission is free, thanks in part to generous support from Versant Power and Cobscook Shores. Enjoy a cozy bonfire, s’mores, and a variety of outdoor activities. Indoor seating and activities will also be available, along with free hot beverages and healthy snacks. Attendees are encouraged to dress warmly to make the most of the outdoor offerings.
A schedule of activities will be posted as the event date approaches. For updates, visit
