On September 25, 2025, Healthy Acadia Youth Engagement Coordinator Corrie Hunkler attended the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute’s Fall Forum with her group of Senior Olympia Leaders. Held at the Cross Insurance Center, the event brought together more than 700 business leaders, students, and community mentors for a day of connection and inspiration. Chief Sabattis’ “Strong Woman Song” opened the forum with powerful energy.

Healthy Acadia supported a workshop on exploring career pathways in youth development and the afternoon’s meaningful conversations session, where students engaged with community members about their goals and dreams.

The Institute’s mission is to raise the confidence and aspirations of high school girls by helping them develop leadership skills for their lives, families, careers, and communities. Learn more at snoweleadershipinstitute.org.
