Creating Smoke-Free Spaces - Adult Family Care Homes of Maine

Adult Family Care Homes of Maine is smoke-free!

In March 2022, Adult Family Care Homes of Maine, an assisted living facility with nine locations across five Maine counties, approved a complete smoke-free policy for all of their facilities. Adult Family Care Homes of Maine headquarters is located in Calais. “Having a [-n organization-wide] smoke-free policy will help keep everyone safe,” said Johnny Chambers, Adult Family Care Homes of Maine Administrator. Adult Family Care Homes of Maine also took advantage of Healthy Acadia’s mini-grant program which provided funding support to create a policy as well as free signage for their nine locations.
