Recently, the ME-RAP Youth Caucus made a meaningful visit to Safe Harbor Recovery Residence for Women and Children in Machias, Maine. This visit highlighted the positive impact of community engagement and the dedication of young people in supporting recovery initiatives.

The ME-RAP Youth, who are deeply connected to recovery through personal experiences or loved ones, came together to assemble a bike and a tree swing for the children living at Safe Harbor. These gifts offer a sense of normalcy and joy for the young residents, enhancing their living experience at Safe Harbor.
