StrengthenME
StrengthenME is a program of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services that offers free stress management and resiliency resources to promote the health and well-being of all Mainers. Knowing that there is no health without mental health, StrengthenME resources aim to inspire hope and resilience. Services are 100% anonymous, low-barrier, and community-focused. We’re here to help.
StrengthenME is a statewide program that helps people recover and rebuild their lives after a disaster, specifically the storms in December and January, and more broadly supports people as they deal with climate anxiety. This anonymous program is designed to provide outreach, support, and connection to resources and services. Get connected to the support you need, free of charge.
The disaster recovery program in Downeast Maine, a collaboration between StrengthenME and Healthy Acadia, is designed to support residents through community outreach and access to mental health resources in Hancock and Washington counties.
