Join AMHC and Healthy Acadia at the Downeast Recovery Center in Machias on Saturday, July 30, 2022 starting at 7 p.m. for a viewing of the documentary film Jacinta, and original documentary film by Jessica Earnshaw.
Released in 2020, Jacinta follows her mother in and out of jail, trying to break free of an inherited cycle of drug addiction and incarceration. Upon release, she hopes to reconnect with her young daughter.
