Ways to Give - Support Our Down East Teen Leadership Camp!
Contributed by Sara Willett, Development Communications Coordinator
We would love your help gathering needed items for this July's Down East Teen Leadership Camp (DETLC) for youth in grades 7-9. We are collecting a wide array of needed camp items from citronella candles and writing journals to sleeping bags. To view our full DETLC Amazon list please visit, https://bit.ly/DETLCwishlist. Note that you can use the list to see what’s needed, but aren’t limited to purchasing on Amazon. There is an easy way to indicate that you have purchased the product even if you purchase through another business! Contact us at development@healthyacadia.org to learn more, ask any questions or to discuss the camp.
DETLC empowers teens in Washington County with social, communication, and leadership skills to support emotional resiliency and to deter misuse of substances, including tobacco, alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs. To learn more about camp, please visit: https://healthyacadia.org/sb-detlc
Your support and donation mean so much to us and our DETLC campers. Camp happens in large part because of your donations!
In addition to the need for the in-kind items listed on the registry, we are still fundraising! We are more than half way to our goal of reaching $5000 and a gift in any amount helps us get one step closer. If you would like to make a monetary donation, you can donate online by visiting https://bit.ly/DETLC-support. You can also send a check to Healthy Acadia, PO Box 1710, Ellsworth, ME, 04605, with the memo line "DETLC." As always, we are grateful for your support!
