Opportunities for Providers to Serve as Trauma Informed Care Ambassadors

Primary Care Development Corporation has immediate opportunities for health professionals to serve as advocates in trauma-informed care within their departments. Those interested in participating in the ambassador program for trauma-informed care will participate in small-group cohorts through two virtual meetings to kick off the initiative. 

The first virtual meeting will delve deeper into trauma-informed care, and guide Ambassadors through considering the value of trauma-informed care and the current state of trauma-informed practice in their work area. Ambassadors will consider how to cultivate and implement a trauma-informed care team and approach, and tools to identify barriers and strategies for success. The second session will include interactive group coaching to address specific implementation challenges and provide support on how to address them. Ambassadors will also be equipped with additional resources to grow their trauma-informed care work into the future.
