Healthy Acadia will offer Responsible Beverage Server and Seller Trainings
May 16, 2016

Bar Harbor & Blue Hill, ME – Healthy Acadia will offer Responsible Beverage Server & Seller (RBS) trainings to provide anyone employed to sell alcoholic beverages at retail stores, bars or restaurants with knowledge to better identify and prevent violations of liquor laws. The half-day session aims to increase employees’ knowledge about liquor laws, emphasize the importance of preventing underage sales, and sales to visibly intoxicated individuals, and help employees build the skills necessary to handle the refusal of service. Employees will receive training on best practices to identify minors, false identification, and visibly intoxicated persons. Training employees through this half-day course may lead to lower insurance rates for participating businesses and help reduce the risk of making costly and/or tragic unlawful sales.
