Free Naloxone Overdose Reversal Training Set For September 22

Ellsworth. On Thursday, September 22, 2016, The University of Maine (Augusta) and Healthy Acadia, in partnership the Health Equity Alliance, will host a free Naloxone Overdose Reversal Training from 12:00pm-1:30pm at the University’s Ellsworth campus. Participants will learn about the science behind opiate addiction and gain new tools to assist people in all stages of addiction and recovery. Attendees will receive a free Naloxone overdose reversal kit and have the opportunity to schedule a workplace policy review/update to incorporate Naloxone administration.

The free training will be held at the University of Maine (Augusta) Ellsworth campus, 248 State Street, Suite 1, Ellsworth. Advance registration is required.
