RecoveryCorps Coaches

Do you have a passion to help those struggling with substance use disorder to be successful in recovery? Healthy Acadia is now actively recruiting full-time and part-time AmeriCorps service members to serve in our AmeriCorps / RecoveryCorps program for one-year terms. Depending on the number of hours served, benefits of AmeriCorps service may include a modest bi-weekly living allowance, professional development training, mileage reimbursement, childcare, and end of Service Education Award.

Volunteers are an integral part of Healthy Acadia’s Coalition, serving a vital role in meeting our mission to build vibrant communities across Downeast Acadia. Many opportunities exist for volunteers to engage in our work, from participating in current initiatives such as harvesting apples for gleaning projects, to sharing your own expertise and ideas, to supporting communications work.
