Join us this December for Healthy Acadia’s Giving Health campaign! Throughout the month, we invite you to partner with us in making a lasting impact across our communities. With your support, we’re able to create healthier lives for so many individuals and families in our region.

This year through Giving Health, we aim to raise $50,000 to fund critical health resources, and every contribution counts. When you give, you’re helping children grow up strong, ensuring families have access to nutritious food and safe housing, fostering positive social connections, supporting people in their recovery from substance use disorders, and lifting our neighbors out of poverty. You’re making health happen!

Beechland Road Office Open House

4 to 7:30 p.m.

Join us for our highly anticipated Open House at our new office, located at 77 Beechland Road in Ellsworth! We welcome you to check out our new space, learn more about our many programs and resources, enjoy some delicious treats and meet members of our staff. It’s sure to be a fun and festive event for all.

While an RSVP is suggested to help with planning, it’s not required—everyone is welcome to drop in at any time during the event! If you'd like to RSVP, you can do so HERE. 

Winter Fun Day

We are excited to announce that a Winter Fun Day will be held on February 8, 2025, in Washington County. There will be food and activities for all ages. More information will be coming soon - stay tuned!

Healthy Acadia’s mission is to empower people and organizations as we build healthy communities together. We address the critical health challenges our communities face and make it possible for all people to lead healthier lives throughout Hancock and Washington counties, and across Maine.

We are a community health coalition, working since 2001 with hundreds of partners and thousands of community members across our region to address a wide range of locally-identified health priorities. We build partnerships, coordinate education and public health services, and improve policies, systems and environments to create lasting positive changes to the health of our communities.

For the past 20 years, and into the next twenty, you lift our work to greater and greater impact on a mission to make the healthy choice the easy choice for all. Together, we are truly building health resources and wellness across our communities. Click here to learn more.
